Maxime "Mac" Breau, 77, of Churchill Street, Moncton, passed away at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday, July 14, 1996.

Maxime BreauBorn in Memramcook, he was the son of the late Donat and Mélindée (Saulnier) Breau. A labourer at C.N.R. until his retirement after 40 years, he attended Notre-Dame-de-Grace Roman Catholic Church, Parkton.

He is survived by two daughters, Jeannette Gallant (Paul) of Moncton, Rachel LeBlanc (Denis) of Memramcook: one son, André “Andy” of Moncton; four grandchildren, Eric, Cécilia, Paula, Raymond; a great granddaughter, Emma; one sister, Rosée Breau; one brother, Emerie Breau both of Memramcook East, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Célia (LeBlanc) Breau in 1973; his stepmother, Florine Boudreau; two brothers, Camille and Joseph.

Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton, with visiting hours on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:30 until time of funeral. Funeral mass will be held at Notre-Dame-de-Grace. Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 16, 1996, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Robert Allain officiating. Interment in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Parish Cemetery, Memramcook East.
